For fairly recent or maybe less active threads that I view, "jump to new" seems accurate, but not so much for active threads that I don't visit often.
Example; I don't visit many of the naked women threads often because they seem to only be about half sexy women with the other half being washed up porn stars.
I decided to catch up on these. Some threads open at page 1, so I click jump to new and "new" was late February. Even threads that don't open on page 1 still take me to a late Feb date.
I just opened a thread (not naked ladies) that started in 2016, and that I knew I had never followed, even though it is fairly active. It opened on page 1, but when clicked JTN, it took me to the last post that was posted Feb 20th of this year.
This isn't a complaint, but more of a curiosity. Does the site refresh and reset in a way that it thinks I viewed everything up until late Feb?
