How does one really narrow a search?

My specific question is regarding the classifieds section. I would like to search rifles for sale only on North Carolina. Not sold. Not For Trade.. But For Sale only. And only with the blue "NC" Prefix.

Is there any way to do that?

Speaking as one who has some experience with Xenforo under the hood, meaning worked with the SQL tables that make up the structure, I would say not likely unless you can trigger on certain keywords reliably. This would be a function of the content of post itself, which is just a variable length text block or possibly a blob if it has pictures and other information. The software is designed as a forum, not a marketplace, so it doesn’t have fields associated with criteria like location, sold status, etc.

This, MOST(not all) firearms here are in North Carolina to start with. People are getting better about marking stuff sold. Just have to do some scrolling. After a couple pages most stuff is usually sold anyway

You wanna search for only ones in NC? Or filter to only in NC and then browse through that list?

Searching is done like amnesia shows above.

y can filter by either clicking NC in an ad:




Or by clicking the filter button and choosing NC:



but you’re not really going to be able to filter out the For Trade Only since there’s nothing standardized
