How long does it take you..

no idea. i don't do it ... ever
a few minutes to strip it, then a minute or two to just wipe an oily rag inside the receivers. another minute or two to run a brush and a patch down the barrel. or a boresnake if i'm being lazy. it's mostly aluminum and doesn't need to be spotless to be reliable.

Depends on how detailed I get. At least 30-45 minutes I would guess.
That's about where I am with the thorough deep clean.
30-45 minutes with a good de-crusting of the bolt and face along with the q-tip belly dance around the guts.
After a range day I usually just bore snake a couple of times and silicone cloth the outside.
If I don't do a good cleaning when it needs it the bolt gets slow and sticky, and end up just slathering oil all over it so it will keep running.

hose it down with brake kleen, blow it off, re-lube.

I've got three to clean tomorrow. I'm thinking 20-30 minutes each. I just bought a new cleaning tool to try out, the Real Avid bore guide.

Quick clean 15 minutes.

Detail clean 45 - 1 hour ( very nit-picky)

Worst ever - range day in Air Force. All ammo was tracers because ammo was in short supply. It looked like someone poured a batch of JB weld into the works. It took 10 minutes to get the bolt apart...

After 1:45 the armory guys were hovering, like "what's taking so.long?" I showed them the pile of crud I had chipped out so far and the bolt carrier still had crap caked on it... after another 10 minutes they said good enough; we will finish it tomorrow...

I quit shooting mine I hate cleaning them so much.

Pistols, not so much.

5 minutes. Break it open, wipe everything down, run a boresnake, then put back together. I donā€™t use mine enough to get them too funky..
