Guys, I can't a rifle for anything. I almost got recycled in the Air Force I was so bad. Went to the range, got my feelings hurt and I think would like to sell this one. I bought this Double Star AR15 and put an iron sight on it in 2020. I've shot two magazines out of it, cleaned it, and really see no use for it. Whats the best legal method for this? Thanks guys.

Your buyer needs to be 18 or older, tell you he's a resident of NC and not give you any reason to expect he's not eligible to own a firearm. You have no legal obligation to maintain a paper trail of any kind, but some folks prefer to make a simple Bill of Sale. Around this forum, a Bill of Sale will drive away some buyers because they don't want their personal info in the hands of someone they don't know.

Find your way to our classifieds and post an ad. Include your price (we don't do "make an offer" here) and whatever terms of sale you want to include.

It's really not as much of a process as you may be thinking.

As another option, you could seek out quality civilian training from a compotent instructor.

I know Ryan with @Apex Defense Group offers one on one training as well as a laundryist of other classes.

Just a thought.

@VOD Tactical is just down the road from Asheville and does a great carbine class.

@big chef while youre at it, give the classified section rules a quick read.

Thank you for posting that link.

Not trying to tell you what your asking price should be but I wouldent expect to get particularly close to what you paid for it in 2020. Prices were severely inflated around then.

If you still enjoy shooting handguns maybe consider listing some trade options that your interested in.
