You are correct regarding Obamacare. They campaigned against it for four years but then couldn’t come together on how to replace it. But McConnell never had anywhere near the 60 he needed to overcome the filibuster, which did make passing far reaching legislation nearly impossible.
He stood firm and refused to have hearings on Merrick Garland. Once Trump was in, he eliminated the filibuster for Gorsuch. And when the D’s threw all they had against Kavenaugh, he stood firm, kept his coalition together, and got him through. And Barrett. And if he had gone limp on any one of those, we wouldn’t have had the Bruen decision. He’s not perfect. But calling him a traitor is wrong.
