Currently John is an Armed Nuclear Security Officer in the State of North Carolina. Prior to founding Boyette Solutions in 2017, he spent 8 years in a similar role with Trace Armory Group. With Trace Armory Group, John personally taught more than 250 classes to 1400 students with no injuries. Topics covered were instructor-to-instructor level or instructor to student level topics including: carbine, force on force, home defense, pistol, precision rifle and shotgun.
From February 2014 to November 2015, John was the Director of Compliance for War Sport Industries and was a major influencer of the War Sport LVOA and GPR line of rifles. Before going to War Sport Industries, John started his career as a Armed Nuclear Security Officer specialized in teaching Critical Infrastructure physical defense and take-back procedures. He also provided Vulnerability Assessments on critical infrastructures for utilities and public / private schools.
Starting in 1995 to 2005, John spent 10 years with the United States Army, 8 years as an Airborne Infantryman assigned to 1/325 AIR 2nd Brigade, 82nd Airborne Div. Performing multiple peacekeeping and combat deployments to Europe and the Middle East: Multi-National Force and Observers, KFOR, Operation Iraqi Freedom. John Spent his last 2 years teaching small unit tactics and combat marksmanship at the Infantry School, Ft Benning Ga.
