I didn't care for the NRA stance on bump stocks and the GOA (Gun Owners of America) seems to give no quarter or our gun rights. https://gunowners.org/

Thats the group that I join and give support to!!! They have a zero tolerance on "crafting" new gun laws and regulations and thats my stance as an individual. But, I am for one new gun law....HR34....elimination of ALL gun free zones!

I am about to join GOA as well. The NRA is spending too much of their message, time, and money on things that have nothing to do with gun rights, some of which (such s attacking net neutrality) are in direct opposition to the positions I support.

The GOA is my choice as well. They have yet to issue a single statement that I have had a problem with. Wish I could say the same about the NRA.

Just purchased my first ever membership with GOA as well last night.

I'm iffy on those stocks I understand the thought of if they go after them they're going after "rights" but let's face it these things are gimmicks I don't support banning anything, but I can think of other accessories that are better protected such as magazines. Right now we need to stand behind the NRA, the GOA, the GRNC etc. they're under full attack right now if they succeed especially against the NRA we lose a huge voice in America. I support your choice to not monetarily the NRA the GOA is also a good org even though they have little "pull" they do voice our opinions.

NO. COMPROMISE! Maybe some folks think 30 round mags are a gimmick, ten rounds works fine no need for the extra 20 you know.

Bump stocks are being pushed because they "increase the rate of fire." Aftermarket triggers could soon find that same outcome. Give the libs one inch and they'll take the whole ruler.

On a side note, I walked into Walmart this morning and some soccer mom called me a domestic terrorist as I walked by. It didn't register at first but rememberd I had an NRA shirt on. When I turned to say something she hid behind her kids...I bit my tongue as I felt bad enough her kids have to live with such a crazy beeeoch....Didn't expect to hear that in Lexington County SC.

You guys have convinced me to join again as well. I give to Grassroots at gun shows. I just sent in the membership and will donate a little more if I don't get bombed with emails and mailings. I'll contribute here (site) if someone will help me with the process.

I’m a member of the NRA, GOA, and GRNC, but any financial support above membership fees goes to GOA and GRNC.

Dang. On the one hand, I would never expect it either...but on the other hand, with the influx of folks, I'm not really surprised either. Probably lives in one of those cookie cutter neighborhoods going up on 378.

GOA is awesome. My favorite thing they do is keeping the NRA from melting under pressure..ie..right after Sandy Hook.

Which Walmart? The one at 378 and old Cherokee?

That's the one, to be expected with all the transplants bringing their lib ideas, need a better vetting process. (NJ refugee here)

I’m halfway between that one and the Batesburg Walmart; I find myself going to Batesburg because there’s less traffic. I used to live by Golden Hills ~2 mins from that one in Lexington though

I signed up as well. And I used PayPal just because it ought to burn them up to know where my donation went.

Same here. More ammo at the ammo counter too :D And my dad, who is 80, used to pick up the door greeter when he drove a school bus in high school. And I see folks I'm kin to come in there all the time.

And the one in Batesburg is fine with my dad driving the cart to the car - he clearly can't walk. But at the Lexington one, you would have thought he was going to set IEDs in the dang parking lot. Holy crap. They can kiss my grits.
