Not sure if you’re familiar with this Youtuber. Not the most exciting reviews but he seems pretty knowledgeable.

I thought his sunglasses were just part of his online persona, like FPSrussia and his fake accent. I guess this explains a lot. Now watching since I’ve learned he’s blind, it’s pretty obvious.

A blind shooting enthusiast. Just when I thought I seen it all.

 
During my days with GSP I was assigned to a blind GA Supreme Court Judge for several months after a threat was made against his life. The things he could do and was aware of was absolutely astounding. He was blind from birth and was in his late 50's at the time.
I learned quite a bit from him during our time together mostly about paying attention to things that most people ignore. His insights were amazing......

An excellent example of American blind justice.
 
I knew kid when I was younger that was legally blind which is not the same as completely blind. He could see shapes and generally tell people apart but couldn't drive, read or do much else we take for granted. But man could that boy shoot!

Many jokes were made about that but he was one of the most respected judges in the state. He was a voracious reader of not only case law but Playboy as well!! Were you even aware that Playboy came in braille versions?? Neither was I.... until then...
I will say that if a lawyer didn't have his sh*t together and ducks in a row he got blown out of chambers in short order. Judge had a short fuse with sloppy attorney's and poorly prepared briefs....
 
I've enjoyed watching and learning from him for years. He also posts regularly on the AK Files and has quite a sense of humor.

When it comes to Kalashnikovs, there may not be a wiser expert and historian anywhere else in the United States. Probably the only thing he's not good at with AKs is marksmanship.

Wait. Seriously? I always assumed he was sort of looking off from the camera at notes or something. Like Helen Keller blind, or just legally blind?
Isn't he reading the side of the receiver in this vid?
