I kind of hate my G19

But I love my 19x
I carry the 19 daily but everytime I shoot this thing, I suck. Something about the G17 grip on the 19x just adds a little more comfort and I’m much more consistent with it.

love the look and size of the 19, but dang, I miss 50% more with it than my full size.

I type this as I stare it on the dresser, in fear of how much time it may have left at this house. Haha!

How many rounds do you load up at a time in the magazine? I like loading up 2-4 per magazine so I can assess my errors and adjust to them.

At what distance?

You may want to start at a closer distance and work up to a certain distance.

Are you shooting at steel targets? What size?

I have several Glock pistols in 9 mm, and they all work out similarly for me.

I don't much like my G19 either, but of the available Glock frame sizes, the compact is what shoots best for me. Its cramped and not even trying to be ergonomic and the trigger is garbage. But it shoots well, and I have a lot of time on it, so I keep it around.
Second best is the gen4 large frame. Oddly the G20 and 21 full size frame feels much better to me than the 17 or 22.
