I need an AR...

I have a question...

On the ZeroDelta rifle made in Rutherford College, NC, the handguard picatinny is only two little pieces. One is 4 slots on the top, out at the end, for the front sight. T'other is 4 slots on the top, at the chamber end of the barrel. What would you put there, just in front of the red dot?

I'm wonderin' why there is a little bit of picatinny there...

On top? In front of the red dot? 🤣

I guess I didn't make it clear that the picatinny is on top... the rest of the handguard is m-lok,

Fixed it.

I was running a pistol light on top in front of the red dot on my 9mm welcome wagon AR pistol, mostly because I don't like stuff on the sides and the rail is only 4" long. Was easier to activate a light on top with my thumb than with it below.

You can get all kinds of mounts that attach to the top rail yet hang off the side. Sling mounts, light mounts, angled sights etc.

Most people will not use that little bit of rail space for anything. It's not very practical for most things when you have so many better places to use m-lok slots.

I went to their website to price the rifle you mentioned but it doesn't look like they even sell complete rifles? I know they do but they aren't on their site.

I'd find out who carries them in your area or reasonable driving distance. Probably cheaper.... I know Fuquay gun sells them, might be worth the trip. I bought a complete upper and lower, its how it worked out at the time.
