Yup. I do, need a professional medical diagnosis because I'm saying F it and pulling the trigger on another revolver, after just buying a Python.
This time, S&W 686. However, I can't choose 😫. My FFL has three great options:

686, regular six shot w/ rubber grips - $950
686 Plus, 7 shot w/ rubber grips - $970
686 Plus, 7 shot w/ wood grips - $990

All are six inch, which is what I want.

Are all three new? That's the only sway from the 686 plus with either material.

I have a couple 686's. One no lock, one ssr. But I'm trying to resist a plus, no lock, 6" when I find one.

You only really need "professional help" if you come back saying you got the 686 plus wood AND rubber😉

Yes, all 3 are brand new

Sounds like the main decision is whether you want a 6 shot or 7? If you say 7, buy the wood grip, you can always buy a cheap rubber grip later (assuming you don't already have one).

You want a 6” which is a fine choice, but have you handled/fired a 4”?
