I need recommendation for good magazines for S&W 1911 Performance Center

I only shot it a couple times due to only having one mag (which by the way I cant find it now) hence the post. Shooting plates it knocks them down with authority. I also ordered a EGW rmr plate for it this morning. Recoil impulse is manageable.

I recall shooting plate racks with my 4506-1. The guy with me was shooting a Springfield loaded 1911 in 9mm.

He would shoot - bang.....tink.....clack. Then I would shoot - BOOM!THWACK!CLACK!

had similar S&W bobtail 4.25" 1911 in 45acp. I bought S&W mags from Smith & Wesson. They were good to go. Could not reliably deactivate grip safety with that gun. She found another street address.

I run WCs in mine and they do well. I also run McCormick’s in mine as well. This is my Sunday go to meetin gun!

Watch out for Chip McCormick Shooting Stars the follower can damage an alum frame or guns with integrated feed ramps.
