I swore to myself I wasn’t going to buy another gun after I finished my AR pistol. Today I bought a Mossberg Maverick 88 for what I consider a pretty decent price, $230.

One shotgun isn’t enough, right? Plus it’s a 7+1 versus the 5+1 for the Stevens 320 I already have.

I’m definitely running out of room to hide these from my wife…😂

You just gotta buy firearms that look very similar. For me it was 1911’s and I’d tell my ex-wife “I had this one in the safe and decide to rotate my carry. Also take an empty case but tell her you have to take one by a gunsmith to get looked at if you think you might have something following you home and use the case to bring it in.

Hell, I was Sniffen on one the other day and my wife said, " if it would make you happy, get it." 🤣
But I'm trying to raise $ for tree work and stump clearing.

That’s because there’s something she’s been eyeing and wanting to get. Your purchase opens the door on her purchase! 🙂

We have more of a "don't ask, don't tell policy" (on Firearms). LOL.
the other day my wife was heading to the airport to fly out, i was going to be dropping my car off in the lot and taking a rental car down to meet her.
she said "hey... when you leave your car, you might not want to have that giant BERETTA case in there..." and she gave me the look that said "i know that's new and i don't even want to know about it"
i just said "you're absolutely right, dear. would you please run this into the house for me?"

The gun had already been in the house for a few days. so this made her a co-conspirator in what she didn't want to know!

I actually did that once. Picked up an all black SW SD9 that looked near identical to my M&P9. I ended up selling it to make room for more Daggers.
