Well, of course. I've gotten physically repulsed looking at molested mil-surp 1911s. Never would have changed anything from stock to begin with, Is that a Sistema or something? But even without my extreme bias it just looks weird with those futuristic grips+rail on a Government A1 style pistol.

You are going to hurl when I switch the duck bill grip safety for a beavertail with palm swell, and the arched MSH for a flat MSH with mag well, and extended thumb safety on a blued Colt Govt this week.

That sounds highly unnecessary but it isn't my pistol. If it's post war I couldn't care less, I only truely admire ones made before mid-1943 when Colt adopted the stupid little defects Remington Rand started.

That is Norinco 1911A1 with a compensator and grips from Recover Tactical. I wanted to try something a little different with one so I figured the one made in China was already an abomination so I could just keep going with it.
