So, you can't put an AR pistol in a saddle bag? I can put an AR pistol in a computer case.

I could but the question was, "do you carry a long rifle in your vehicle."

It really hasn't changed what I carry. I carry everywhere that I can, so I've got a gun on my side nearly every day. I carry an SR9c with a full mag and one in the pipe, for a total of 11 rounds. I'll sometimes carry a spare 10 round mag for it. In a pinch, the 17 round mags from my SR9 fullsize will fit it just fine. I used to carry the SR9 more often, but I shoot the SR9c better.

Now If I'm going far from home, I'll usually toss an AR pistol into the trunk of the car with a few loaded mags.
