Getting ready to put an Inland up for sale but after having searched for an hour I still don't know how to determine the value. Anyone around Winston or Clemmons know how to determine value?
Does have lug. Flat bolt. Serial number 528xxx. Cartouches all over the stock. Barrel marked Inland 4-73. Can't find any other marks on barrel. Push button safety. Etc. Etc.
barrel should not be marked 4-73, maybe 4-43. Does it have a flip rear sight. This is a real mis-matched gun, with arsenal updates and still having a push button safety, safety should be a flip lever safety.
Considering most US milsurp have mismatched parts that is kinda expected to be honest. The condition is key and particulars about the stock can bump the value. Pics will help a lot here.
Value is going to depend on the condition and number of correct parts in your carbine. An guess-timate for a post war rebuild/mix-master would be around the $800 mark. For a correct carbine, $1500+
Sadly I have an IBM that I traded for that bubba had gotten ahold of and killed most of the value. It looks like a good many of the parts are ww2 era with early safety and mag release and no bayonet lug...but a target site was added which required receiver to be tapped and died...and a bad thread job was done.
So not it is a shooter with some really nice parts!!
