Interstate handgun sales without an FFL?

Wait

Current federal law adopted in the 1960s bars selling handguns to out-of-state residents. Those who wish to do so currently have to have the pistol or revolver transferred to a licensed dealer in the buyer’s home state as a workaround that typically adds often significant shipping and processing costs — as well as delays — to the sale. The sale of long arms such as rifles and shotguns have no such restrictions.

Say what?

But yeah, it’ll never clear the house.

Edit, unless they give on “universal background checks” federally, so no more transactions without an FFL.

You don't think universal background checks will help with illegal purchases?

I swear, it's almost like you think criminals would break the law even with such stringent restrictions...

People should have never started complying with the “requirement” to use an FFL in the first place.

The bastards in Congress only have power people are willing to give them. Refuse to obey and they’re nothing but low IQ idiots that are full of themselves and hot air.

Step 1 you need to go through a FFL for all your transactions.

Step 2 System gets overloaded do approval window extends to 15 days.

Step 3 system still overloaded so for our convenience they implement a licensing system.

Step 4 bad stuff still happens and nobody mentions how we have just brought back Jim Crow laws for gun ownership. Licenses are revoked if you get flagged for hate speech online. Elected officials exempt themselves from all requirements. Ownership of certain firearms makes you a domestic terrorist.
