Is it OK to shoot FMJTC ammo in a tube magazine rifle?

    Like a Rossi 92 ? I know a "flat tip bullet" is the rule , but is Full Metal Jacketed Truncated Cone "flat" enough?

    I would not hesitate to use that bullet. I'd think it would have to be a 'sharper' point to ignite a primer.

    It’s the same profile as the hard cast bullets that I use in my lever action .357. Should be fine.

    The TCFP bullet is my #1 choice for lever action pistol caliber rifles.
