Seems funny that I can easily locate and purchase all sizes of primers, except Large Rifle primers.
I hope the reason is the Ukrainian disaster. Otherwise, any ideas?

Is the USA loading so much 7.62 AK ammo that we cannot find Large Rifle primers?

1. Reloading in general has became way more popular in recent years ( for a variety of reasons )
2. Plenty of cartridges use large rifle primers - ammo manufacturers will always make sure they have enough primers to keep up with demand for loaded ammunition
3. Increased popularity of PRS type matches -more people buying rifles in larger centerfire calibers
I’m starting to see ammo pile up on shelves and prices are dropping. Keep an eye out primers will start to appear soon

When the "primerpocalypse" started, LRP were on the shelves for a lot longer than small anything. That tells me that LRP are the least used. As such I think that manufacturing had to catch up to small everything. Now, LRP will eventually catch up; but it's a case of last out then last in.
