Is this a Stevens Favorite, or something else?

Pics show a small single shot frame and buttstock that I got in a surprise box years ago. I figured someone on here might know what it is.

I don't think it is. The trigger guard does not look like the ones I have seen. It appears to be part of the action and the ones I have seen were attached with screws. But there is no telling how many different models they may have made.

Having spent the better part of a day reassembling one and getting it to work, I think that's a Visible Loader.

It would also explain why it's disassembled!

Those have an underlever like a Sharps.

I am sure I am wrong but stock and receiver look a little like an early Remington Rolling block.

The little cutout in the lower (magazine tube) part of the receiver is a tip off (see the arm in the picture above that cams in it)
