Dont know about that one, or what makes a Glock 'collectible' in general, but we had a member here sell a Gen 1 on Gunbroker for 6k+ a few years back.Walking through area 52 today and saw an older gen glock. Pretty beat up. Looks like it had rust on on the slide and standard sights. Are these things collectible now? Makes me wish i never sold my gen 2 17.

"That punk pulled a Glock 7 on me. You know what that is? It's a porcelain gun made in Germany. It doesn't show up on your airport X-ray machines here and it costs more than what you make in a month!" ―John McClane on the Glock 7.Was it used in "Die Hard"?
Hans Gruber. Resident German Grammar Nazi out.I don't think I'd pay 2000 even if it was an autographed hanz gruber Christmas special.
I stand corrected... at this point my grammar and punctuation are basically a community College educated guess.Hans Gruber. Resident German Grammar Nazi out.
Actually, it’s almost impossible to find any example of Hans Gruber’s gun for $2000, even without his autograph. 😉I don't think I'd pay 2000 even if it was an autographed hanz gruber Christmas special.
Couldn't you hold down the trigger and fire the gun by squeezing the grip safety over and over?
I've heard if you squeeze off a few rounds you cook your top fingers as the guts heat up there.I remember a guy bringing one into the shop and everybody was oooing and ahhhing and he just said it's ok if you don't mind this and he showed us. All i thought back then was why the grip safety? And in the front? Now their worth a good bit🤷♂️
