I’m having an error message when PM’ing pictures.

Says “The upload failed because the temporary directory was missing. The site administrator will need to resolve this before any files can be uploaded”

Is this something on my end or the site?
 
I've had that happen once when I copied an image to my clipboard and tried to paste it into the post composer box. If I save it as a local file on my computer and insert it from the file, or provide a url to an image found elsewhere on the web, it has always worked correctly for me.
 
Mine usually says a url error

@Cowboy the security blocks is because your token expires due to being idle.

100% sure this was my fault. I changed something on how the site is being backed up and it created a 500GB backup file that ate all the hard drive space. I fixed it but missed a checkbox so when the cron job ran it ate the space *again*

I don't get an error, the pics appear to upload, but I'm given no option to insert them. Only delete is available.

Yeah this is an issue when the Thursday backup happens. I’ll spend time on it today hopefully fixing it for good

one more issue (I think). i tried login from my laptop but I am not receiving the email with the code for the 2 step verification
