Peel the Willys stickers off and have some made that says Stonewall, it fits and now its Yours ! I work for Jeep and personally I think all you are nuts.

Ha, agreed. Based on their historical reliability it makes no sense. But I have a company car for 90% of my driving. This is a tool, and head to the mountains ride. So a fun vehicle. My wife has a Honda Pilot so for long family trips we’ll use that. If that all plays out as planned this truck will be FUN, and driven a little bit, and last a long time. If not, I’ll die with less $, and have at least owned one fun Jeep. No problem either way.

Reliability wise, they are actually pretty good now a days. Dont take me wrong,, But,, If your wanting to be a Jeep owner, you have to make it yours ..meaning,one of a kind. You all do it, might be stickers, might be big tires or lights. I like the Stonewall on the hood.

Yeah, Consumer Reports had better rating going forward than the Tacoma which shocked me. But the Tacoma’s are now being made in MX. And I‘ve done enough business with plants down there to avoid that. Especially in year 1.

And stickers and wild crap is not me. There will be no outward signs of affection. I’m a little old school. It will be well cared for and kept clean. Some decent accessories maybe, but no ‘look at me’ BS.

Seems to have that already. Guess they learnt.

I have taken that attitude with things I buy lately. I have saved pennies everywhere I could most of my life. Now, I don't worry about it. Many of the things that I buy now will be the last time that I need to buy them. Might as well get the good stuff and enjoy it.

Nope....look at the end of the rain gutter on the front it will drain right into the floor when you open the door
Yep,, all hard top Wranglers dribble or pour water onto your left thigh or the floor as you get in and out when its raining. The carpets in the Wranglers are specially treated to resist mold and mildew because they know its going to leak in there or from one spot or another. I suggest buying the Weathertech mats, they pool the water up so it can evaporate naturally and not have to water test the Jeep carpet treatment.

Stonewall completed his first road trip tonight. Emergency mountain trip. 2-3” of snow and ice on our road. He zoomed right up with no issues. Was fine on the highway getting here too. Tires are a tad noisy, but that’s why there is a volume knob on the radio. Think this is going to be a long, loving relationship.

I really wanted one of those bad...till I was looking for reviews and these guys did a video "one year review" and they were towing one of those small offroad crawl-in campers.
They were getting 5.4mpg!

Which mountain or area? I'm in Fines Creek and parts of my property still have snow, but atleast my roads are clear

Outside of W. Jefferson. Major roads were bare or a little wet. Our road doesn’t get plowed unless there is a significant accumulation. We all pitch in and get an occasional plow. So there was a few inches of crusty crap on the hill. My little company car wouldn’t have made it. Hopefully we get some more tonight so I can give it a better test tomorrow.

Sounds like a great time, enjoy

Wow, that sucks. I probably won’t tow much. Need a trailer for the Gator, but that’s about it.

From a guy on Jeep #2......welcome to the family. Your hand will soon tire of the "jeep wave"......

My buddy showed me that. I ignored at least 2 strangers today. I need more than a common vehicle to become friendly with somebody. I’m sure there are some Commies that drive Jeep’s.

Bastards.

The only reason I want one of these is you can get it with a turbo diesel.

I don't know who has been riding shotgun but tell them to ease up on licking the passenger window.....dayum.
That is very old window tint, it got removed

Had 3 Gladiators...Sport-Overland-Mojave. Now the only Jeep here is a 2003 TJ. You will enjoy that truck..I did mine!
