When my IP has been banned on other sites running Xenforo like this one, I couldn’t even get on the site. I run a VPN now so that has changed, but some sites won’t let me on while the VPN is running.

Edit: Just checked, and apprently I can now see sites with the VPN off, that I couldn’t access before. I wonder if after turning the VPN off, I have another IP address.

I've seen that a few times with the SAME BANNED USER! And wondered the same thing
 
I was a jerk to some new guy (thad?) and then made a smartbutt comment to @Tim
Got a five dayer. After five I 'came back' but something had kicked me off for longer or something. I could get onto the site...but I could get onto the site. Like, I got far enough to say I was in trouble, but no further, not seeing posts/the forum itself.

The awesome thing about all that weed I smoked back in the day is my memory is reliable like a Century Arms import. I have no clue what you're talking about. It's nice in my world, everyone likes me here.

Explains a lot. Lot of thin skin mods here for me to lose shoutbox for telling someone to grow a pair. Doubt you even read the entire discourse. But you would not remember if you had.

5 months, 19 posts, and you couldn’t make it in the shout box. Maybe less about thin skinned mods and more about something else.

Funny thing is that it wasn’t even me that banned you from Chat.

For most people who find the involuntary exit it's not hard to figure out. Just search their post history and look at the most recent posts.
