I acquired a 10.5" 300BLK upper that has a KeyMicro muzzle device. My suppressor(s) are all setup for SiCo ASR Bravo mounts.

- Do I go direct thread?
- Find an adapter to keep the KeyMicro muzzle device? <--- seems expensive
- replace the muzzle device with an ASR?

Any real compelling reason to do any of the above over the others?

I would purchase a ASR Mount and sell the other. Just because I like keeping things simple. This way you do not need any changes to the suppressor when switching between weapons.

I'd also sell the keymicro. Keymo adapter for sico cans are pretty expensive.

That is what I like about the New YHM mounts. Smaller, lighter and less money. They also work great.
Do they offer suppressor adaptors to use their system? And which model of YHM muzzle device are you using. They had a couple different ones list on their website.

responses are as I expected.

I'm going to just go direct thread. I have a pig of a .30 cal suppressor that just sits on the shelf now. I'll add it to this upper that's likely to also just sit on the shelf.

If you’re dedicating that can to that upper, compatibility doesn’t matter. Just go DT if you don’t have a spare ASR muzzle device.

Yes

I'm using both the old phantom QD, Kurz and the new SRX mount.
The SRX is the way to go now.
