My lack of forethought has led to a bit of a pickle for @digitalpaladin10 and I. I'm having him cut down and rethread a vz58 barrel then pin and weld a JMAC keymo mount on it. However neither he nor I have a keymo on hand to check fitment with the front sight post.

My question is how much space if any is needed between the rear of the flash hider and the front sight post?

I found this:

You can also just search for dead air sandman (or anything else) and start looking at pics. I think the brake sits almost flush, but I don’t have any KeyMo stuff to confirm.

Thats what ive done. As best i can tell it should be safe nearly flush to the sight block. The pictures on jmacs website show a tiny gap.

Flush should work. That’s a gun site scout I used that spacer because the threads didn’t go down all the way but flush should work. The suppressor doesn’t come past the rear of the brake.
