thank you for the compliment. it is my first true zero grind and the thing is stupid sharp. its twin just came out of the temper cycle. I always make two and that way if one dosent survive I have another. it is a gift for my wife's dr. he has helped her a lot along the way and this is my way of repaying him for his kindness. believe me I have only met three of his caliber in 62 yrs of life. she trys to argue with him at times and I tell her he is the dr and if you are not going to do what he says its wasting his time and our money.
I tried to show the zero grind but the camera caught a shadow or a reflection the grind is actually the bevel on a zero grind. I chopped into a 2x4 pretty good with it and it will still laser hair. the inlay is a pin it goes thru and the same on both sides, both brass pins are peened the old way with a spoon. I spent the whole day on it and decided to go ahead and do the other for a wall hanger. been collecting knives my whole life and yes I have too many. the wife is on blood thinners and I keep all the good ones away from her. she still tries to sneak my chefs knife out at times but now its locked in the case.
