Time for another update please @knifeman32.
Thanks for thinking of me fellas!

I'm hanging in there. Healthy for the most part. Still dealing with the compromised immune system stuff. Still eating too much fried chicken. Blood counts are stable (thank God). I still have labs drawn fairly regularly. Eventually we are hoping to extend it to six months, which will mean having my port removed.

From what my doctor's have told me, my "new normal" is likely below average and will likely stay that way due to all of the chemotherapy. But I'm healthy and feel good. Basically if the kids bring a cold home, they keep it for a few days. I keep it for a few weeks. So I try to stay home as much as I can. The good news is I have plenty of room to roam.

My babies are growing up way too fast. Colt just turned 8 years old and River is now 6 and ready to graduate kindergarten. Colt recently won an Outstanding Character Award in which only a few from each school are chosen. We had to attend a fancy ceremony. He certainly takes after his mother.

Colt plays basketball and is getting pretty good. River is on a competition dance team. I'm probably going to have to beat boys off with a stick in the coming years.

God has really looked out for me and my family. I'm lucky for sure.

Been too long brother. Thanks for the update. Sounds like things are going well for you. Those little ones don't stay little for long. My baby is now 22.
