@gunbelt

have you played around with or seen anyone with a laser engraving machine? Just trying to see how feasible it would be to use one on leather goods, like a certain someone's belts and holsters

@Unknownpro
Check with this guy, I asked him about something about a month ago, but never followed through with the idea/never figured out exactly what I wanted.
But he might be an option for you too

I have not. But I have heard of them being used for leather. Go to leatherworker.net I'm sure there is plenty of info there.

I have played with it slightly, problem is it burn real easy. I guess if you had sample leather and know exactly what your after this could be an option. Honest it takes a different kind of laser to do leather(correctly). I wont go into details, but i might be getting one.

I saw some CO2 lasers and looked pretty nice on wood leather etc. I would love to have a laser engraved Fat Boy XL with the 2A printed in script all around my waste and a molon labe spartan on the buckle [emoji41][emoji16]

keep me posted if you do, im closer to knowing what I want done now

Most of what Im seeing software wise is compatible with jpg, bmp, etc so it should be fairly easy to use. Except for the whole leather thing [emoji16]

A lady had one at the last Big Lick Festival gun show. She was engraving wood signs at the show. She also had samples of gunstocks and belts that she had done. I thing she was from Ansonville or Polkton.
