Functional enough to site in an AR?

Ordered one from Bass Pro for in-store pickup. Need to use it Friday. Just curious if it’s worth picking up, or if I should just cancel the order.

I was gonna really cheap out and go with the Caldwell Steady Rest NXT for ~$35, but figured that’s a waste of time.

I like the Solo for sighting in ARs better than the original. I have the original and using standard magazines with the AR can be a little tricky because the mag hits the support rail going back to the stock rest.

I have an original Lead Sled and it works fine with short mags. It sounds like the Solo will be an improvement.

I’ve got one and like it. Use 20 round and smaller mags and it’s gtg.

So it’ll hold an AR still enough to adjust the sight to the POI?

Yessir, mostly use mine with my ARs.

Without any weight in the tray, a 30rd PMag works just fine.



25rd 15-22 mags…check.



32rd Colt mags…yep.



And 26rd Glock mag is good…barely.
