Let's keep this going from the other site.
In July of 2015 (45 yrs old), my doctor told me I weighed 285 and had just under 30% body fat. It was an eye opener for me and I resolved then and there to do something about it. Since that day, I started lifting 4 days a week and have recently started jogging 2-3 miles a day, 3-4 days a week. At my last visit in late October, I was down to 248 and 20.3% BF. Over the holidays, I have crept back up to 258 but I attribute that to the new work out routine I started in late October since my pants are still loose and I'm still using the same, if not one tighter, belt loop.
I don't really care what my weight winds up being (within reason) but my goal is to be around 235 and 12% BF.
So, let's do this. Let's encourage each other to get in better shape!
