What is this warmer weather you are waiting for??? Right now it's 70 here at the coast. I'm planning on going out Thursday. The fish are out there all year and some of the best fishing is in the "colder" months. Right now the Black Bass are close to shore and the Dogfish are swarming thick.
When you find the Dogfish you can't fish with 2 poles, you don't have enough time to get a second line in the water before your first line ids hooked up. Plus those Dogfish, considered a "trash fish" by most folks, are delicious.

My boat is a 1971 Starcraft that I've had for about 25yrs, I got a 1995 90hp on it that I got brand new, runs like a Swiss watch.
When the Dogfish are here they are thick. They come here in swarms to have their babies, then they go back up North. They are live birthers and pretty much every one you bring up will be female and very pregnant. They are ready to give birth and sometimes when you pull them up they will start spitting out pups in the bottom of the boat, just scoop them up and throw them in, they are ready to be born and head straight for the bottom. If you keep a few to eat, slice em open and dump the babies overboard.
