I took the STK 100 to the range today.
Out of 100 rounds I had 22 failures to fire
Some could be reinserted into the mags and would fire on the second or third attempt.
At one point I gave Ten that wouldn't fire no matter what I tried to another member put them in his sig they all fired in his gun
This gun has less than 150 rounds through it.
Anyone unfamiliar with this platform top end is basically a gen three Glock
Any suggestions

First thoughts are it’s a striker or striker spring issue. do you have any rounds that failed to fire that we can see? A picture of the primer would be really helpful.

I saved 5 rounds for pics then didn't post them. the primer strikes is at the seven o'clock position more to the edge of the primer on all the rounds

I take back the striker or striker spring. Looks like the firing pin channel is out of spec and not hitting close enough to center.

Yeah, Im calling armscor cs tomorrow
They used to be really good but these days I don't know

I’ve got a couple of their 1911 models. Never had a minutes trouble with them. They don’t have a Wilson Combat or other top tier 1911 trigger but it’s still better than any striker fired pistol.

I’ve never got a chance to shoot an STK 100 yet. Outside the failure to fire, how’s the trigger, recoil, etc?

I have a couple of their 1911s myself that's why I purchased the STK .
It's basically a Glock like trigger. It's little mushy it will take gen three or older upgrades except for the barrel.
Recoil is negligible you don't even notice it that much.
Front sights to narrow for my taste and you can't change it.

How do the fired cases look? Are the strikes better centered? I've seen where a slide doesn't quite go fully into battery and absorbs the striker hit moving forward. It's very slight. I would also check that the striker is moving freely, without drag.

Didn't think to check the fired cases.
Gonna tear it down today
Clean and inspect it.
