The wife thinks I'm crazy but I keep a cleaver in the car as my "me v. Carjacker" tool. It's heavy & short, so it's perfect for tight spaces, and it's sharp as hell. It has no projectiles I would need to worry about leaving the vehicle, and no-damn-body wants to get chopped. It's not tacticool and it won't win any awards, but it was $28 dollars at the Chinese Restaurant store.
