Local store that sells barrel vise?

The one that was supposed to be delivered today was sent back to shipper.
Does any store around the triad area sell one?

I don’t need anything held crazy tight, and thought about clamping 2 pieces of wood in a bench vise, drilling a hole through them with a paddle bit and using that

This is the way.

Blocks of wood with the hole drilled in, two pieces 1/4 thick angle iron and all thread rod will work too.

Yea, I doubt any store locally would have a barrel vise. Just use the wood. I’m in Randolph county and you can’t find anything here.

Once thats done, cut the pieces in two at an angle, then flip one of the pieces. This angle cut helps with biting on the contour.
