My wife’s contract ended where we live so she is taking a 8 week travel nurse job in Tucson, AZ. The need for, and amount of money they are paying critical care nurses right now is absurd so we figured we may as well take advantage of this while the opportunity is there.
I decided to drive her as far as Dallas where her family lives and her sister will make the rest of the drive with her to AZ. We left late Thursday morning and made it to Nashville at around 8ish and went out downtown for awhile. Friday, we got on the road and made a stop a little past Little Rock to have lunch with our niece who is in college out there. Pulled in to Dallas around 930 that night and now I’m sitting here at the DFW Airport having some breakfast beers before my flight back to VA. Cheers..
