why is it so hard to find a price on these things online....all they want to tell you is the monthly payments.

I wanna know the cash price and i wanna be able to click around and compare different models and see what I like.

Yeah, it’s hard to charge you 25-30% interest if you pay cash lol. On a serious note. I think it’s more of the classic trick of getting you on sight so they can use high pressure sales tactics to make the sale.

LOWES and HD might even your best bet, if generic will work for you.

Build one, come out way cheaper.

FWIW there's ONE at the Lowes in mocksville that's 50% off. Well there was one there last weekend.

Buying our latest one, I "built" several online at 3 different places. They listed a price, but had the caveat about a materials upcharge since this was back in Feb this year.
ETA- I think at least one of them still required me to request a quote to get the final price.

Sheilas in Shelby. That's the best price you find down your way.

Homestead Buildings is who @Lil D bkygjt her 12x32 from just a couple months ago. They brought it here from Danville and set it up. Check them out. I think their website has a shed builder option on it

I found that very frustrating also. I was able to work with homestead and build exactly what I wanted for way less than other places I got quotes from. I had gotten a quote from them in December of last year and wasn’t ready to hit the button on it because the weather here turned bad and we had trouble getting my other two buildings demolished. The lady contacted me warning that the price was going to change in January so I put a deposit on it to hold my price. I didn’t end up getting to actually buy the building until March I think and of course by then materials had gone way up. They contacted me and told me it was going to cost almost 2k more to build it. I was outside of my locked price window thanks to the weather…. But instead of charging me the full 2k they removed all of the labor charges and only charged me for materials and although it went up 500 that was better than 2k so I was very happy. They had it here and set up with no issues in no time.

I guess I will just have to suck it up and spend a day going around and comparing prices.

The house we are looking at buying doesnt have a shop and I dont wanna move all my woodworking equipment into the garage so i will need something temporary to last me until I can actually build a shop.

now if only the owner of the property can get her ducks in a row and we can get the process started

I could not find anyone in the Shelby or Cherryville area that could beat the price I got from Mayberry Metal Structures in Mount Airy NC. Rob Morris was my salesman and he was excellent 336-577-5480. I ordered exactly what I wanted over the phone it was excellent seamless experience.
The local steel building and car port dealers were $1000 higher and that price was a bare bones structure which did not include upgrades. Just passing it forward. I had a 2 week turn around time or 9 business days. Just passing it forward.
