Moving to Jacksonville in about 3 months, and my wife and I are both IDPA/USPSA shooters, along with a smattering of 2 and 3 gun!

We are looking for a range/some ranges that are forward thinking towards Practical Pistol sports in that area.

I’d really appreciate the help/direction!!

Thanks so much!

Ant Hill in Southport used to put on some good USPSA matches back in the day. Beautiful range too. 1.5hr from you.

Does anyone know if Ant Hill is still operating? Some of the guys out there were getting up in years.

Buccaneer Gun Club has IDPA and several other gun games that are open to the public. Check their web site. I think IDPA shoots are the first Saturday in each month. It is near Wilmington.

Thank you so much, I called the range and it looks like it’s a static range, hopfully I can find a range in which to practice IDPA/USPSA as well. I will for sure be participating in your matches, and I always attend the Carolina Cup and the Costal Carolina Matches for IDPA every year!

Thanks again, and I look forward to shooting with you!

yes Flatwoods is, we are on the same property, but our competition side is totally separate from what they do on the static side. We run matches and host USMC training events only, we are not open for "practice" on our side, with the exception of 3rd Sundays which are "skills" day, we set up simple stuff for people to practice USPSA/IDPA skills. Hopefully you join us, John Z.
