Then there is this response from the idiots in PA. Apparently they are as bad with packages as they are with votes. Oddly, I don't consider this resolved until the package is delivered. I guess when you work for Govco you get to choose if you do your job or not. Idiots. So whether that links helps or not depends entirely one whether the person on the receiving end cares enough to do the job they are told to do.
Thank you for contacting the U.S. Postal Service®. This is in response to your recent inquiry regarding delayed mail.
As a result of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, Postal ServiceTM Priority Mail® products and First-ClassTM packages may temporarily experience delivery delays due to limited transportation availability. The Post Office is doing everything in their power to get all packages delivered however we are at the mercy of what the distribution centers are sending us. We can only control what is being sent to us on a daily basis. There is no recourse for us at the local level but to continue to do our jobs to the best of our ability through these trying times. We do not have the ability to try to find any one package due to the amount of items trying to be sent at this moment. Rest assured as soon as we get the item, we will deliver it promptly.
Please be assured, the Postal Service’s goal is to move packages as expeditiously as possible, and we are committed to ensuring timely processing and delivery of essential packages. The Postal Service continually reviews its network capacity to provide the American public reliable, efficient, and fast delivery service.
Thank you for your patience and understanding. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this matter has caused.
