Steel or CRES banding works great, too, to pop door latches.

Thanks everyone, especially LeeMajors. The key I ordered came last week and I got a chance to try it yesterday, it works! So now as usual I am a little bit wiser of the ways of the world thanks to CFF!

If your luck is like mine, the other key is found as soon as the new one arrives.

That lock looks like a UWS toolbox lock I had to find a key for. I took that number and UWS dealer had one in the drawer. Just gave it to me. So FYI, that might be another way to get a quick replacement that day if you have that number. Apparently they are universal locks for many applications.
