To make a long story short, I was in the market for an adjustable gas block for my wife’s 10.5” AR pistol so I reached out to several friends, a couple of them are members here.

I normally run the SLR series of adjustable gas blocks on most of my ARs, but the adjuster screws tend to lock up like a vault after you’ve ran them for a while, I’ve also had great experiences with the Odin Works adjustable gas block, but I’m NOT a fan of how they adjust and how the adjustment screws lock into place, the one I had required you to remove a threaded “plug” in order to access the adjustment screw, once it was adjusted and setup how you wanted it, it worked perfectly and allowed for very, very fine adjusting, but the setup process was a royal PITA to me.

NKD suggested that I take a look the Wojtek adjustable gas block because he has had good luck with them, and for $39 I figured, what the hell, NKD wouldn’t have suggested it to me if it didn’t work.

I honestly wasn’t expecting too much because of the low cost, but hey, function over form right?, well when I received the block in the mail I was actually shocked at the fit & finish, this $40 adjustable gas block is actually nicer than the vast majority of the “high end” gas blocks I’ve installed over the years, and at 1/3 of the price to boot!

I have the unit installed and found that the instructions are well written and to the point, they also cover various things you shouldn’t do so you don’t screw things up right out of the gate, they are pretty comical as well.

I went with the clamp on version because PSA doesn’t dimple the barrel for set screws under the gas block and I don’t have a dimple jig, but they do offer both styles, clamp on & set screw.

The tuning adjustments appear to be straight forward, and if this is your first time running an adjustable gas block, you’ll probably have zero issues figuring it out, once you have the gas adjusted to where you want it, you’ll use a second screw on the side of the block to lock everything down, it’s super easy.

I certainly hope this post helps anyone considering adding an adjustable gas block to their boom stick and feel free to ask any questions you may have, please overlook any punctuation or spelling errors you may find as I’m 2/3 of the way through a batch of adult beverages lmao.

also, I have zero affiliation with the company, I figured someone might find my experience helpful and wanted to share my thoughts, I’ll also be happy to answer questions about this gas block, the SLR rifle works or the Odin Works blocks I’ve used.

I will also follow up here once I’ve had the chance to get everything tuned & adjusted.

CLICkY to the gas block!!!

he's big on reddit and actually answers questions and gives updates in the sale threads he creates. Apparently a little while back a big mistake did occur and he ate many thousands of dollars just to keep the customers happy. If i were to buy, it would be with confidence.
I'd buy one of these, but I want one that will let me easily change gas levels for different loads and suppressors, and that style is meant more to dial it in and keep it there.

He does have click adjustable on his site as well. They are more expensive but still a lot cheaper than most. And you can get stainless, too.
I have not tried the clickable from here, but probably will soon.
