Anyone interested in having a lunch get together Saturday April 27th at Captain Bill’s Seafood on West Market St. in Greensboro?

Just throwing it out there and I chose Saturday so maybe it would help folks who work during the week.
 
My wife and I have gone there for lunch on Saturday a couple of times recently.

It hasn’t been crowded and they have a big dining area to accommodate large groups.

I’ve been there countless times the last 38 years. It’s a Greek owned restaurant with very good food.

It’s kind of like a BBQ joint except with broiled and fried seafood instead of pork, brisket, and chicken.

Just bring some cash for the tips. The owner understandably doesn’t allow tips on credit/debit cards. His waitresses make more with cash tips.

Wives, kids, girlfriends, or whoever else are welcome.

We’ve been there at different times for lunch on Saturday, and it’s never crowded. Any time is fine, but we can just settle for 12:00 noon if that works for anyone else that wants to join us. If not, just post a different time that works and we’ll adjust it accordingly.

I realize we only have two so far. If y’all want to reschedule for another time that’s fine.

I’m still going for lunch there on Saturday. My wife was going but now she’s bowing out because she got invited to a special lunch where she volunteers.

Anyone is welcome to join me if you want or we can do it again later when we can get more folks.

I’m understanding this to mean that lunch with you and @Chdamn isn’t very special. Would you mind sharing the address and timing of the special lunch? 🤔

I hate saying yes and then something happening, but at this moment it seems very likely I can make it

I managed to just wake up in the last 30 mins.. and it's an hour drive. I'm gonna say @C-doodle and I are out on this one! Y'all have a great time!
 
It was great seeing everyone. Thanks for coming out for great food and great conversation.
 
I was out biking and casing a house out in high point. Apparently they put up a new fence on their drive way approach.
Mental note: Will need a bigger SUV to bust through that.
