I discovered this company a couple years ago when I had them mill the slide on my full size. I bought their “EDC Magwell” and really liked it. Their magwells require their low profile base plate (+0) or mag extensions (+2 or +6). I bought the +2 and like them, no extra power springs needed. What I like most is using the +2 on my 2.0 Compact mags.

The +2 extension only adds 0.22”, getting you 17rds but 0.20” shorter than a full size 17 rounder. The low profile mag extension carries well and doesn’t snag on clothing like an OEM base plate on a full size mag can.

Magwells $75-80

+2 Extensions $30

Nice. I'm ordering a couple to see if they work with SR9 mags. The Hyve and Arredondo extensions do. Though the Hyves look weird on the SR9 and the Arredondo polymer construction worries me a bit.

Another option, which I tried but didn’t fit the magwell, is the NDZ extensions. They make them in aluminum and delrin. I have a couple delrin ones around here that I bought to try out.
