M1A in .308 and walnut stock, includes a scope mount & scope with flip up covers and red and green reticles, along with the bipod. Any interest out there? Any idea what I can get for this, cash? This is a hand me down item. I never shot it or know the history. I am not an FFL, so face to face is best in the Franklin area.

Who made the gun, scope and mount?
And need to post up good photos.
 
That is true, tbe dedicated appraisal section is members only. However, it is also true that asking for an appraisal in a thread in the open area is not forbidden.

OP, take some some pics and post the serial number, you can XX the last 2 digits. It's most likely a springfield but there are a couple other manufactures. Guys will tell you what they think its worth andn you'll at least know what you have.
