Does anyone have a accurate estimate on what a original factory excellent condition Norinco mac90 AK-47 is worth today? I've been getting different estimates from different places and people with an average of $500 or so in the difference between the price value of one and I know that the window is not that big. I can understand around $100-$200 maybe depending on what the person is willing to pay. But I'm just looking for a average value of a mint condition mac90. I have 2 of them and might sell one for the right price but I bought it 20 years ago or more and I paid $350 for it but I know that they are around 4 times that now for a good one. But mine is in perfect condition and was wondering how much it's worth so if I do sell it?

I generally use GunBroker's Completed Sales feature for an idea. I'm assuming yours isn't converted? Converted ones usually go for more, if the conversion is good. Do you have all of the original paperwork, in the original box? Is it in good condition? That could change the value by a few hundred. Also, there are a few types of MAK 90 markings - some are more valuable than others.

Perfect condition as in unfired, new in box in original wrapping and all accessories, with no selector scratch or other finish wear? Or "perfect" as in overall pretty excellent condition? Is it a square or slant cut receiver? Milled or stamped?

I do agree with Dan but also believe GB sales tend to be on the high side. I'd subtract a bit of value if FTF to factor in no seller fees, no transfer fees, and no taxes. The AK Files Marketplace is another great resource for current, fair market values.

Without knowing specifics I'd say +/- $1,300 for a NIB stamped square MAK90. Also, paging @Majicmike

$1000 and up.

I will have to get it out of the safe in the storage building when I get a chance and post some pictures of it. But it's never been fired and I have the original box and paperwork and it is unconverted as far as I know because when I got it the gun was in the original packaging and everything with the laminate wood thumbhole stock and handguard and 1 30rd Norinco mag for 7.62x39 and I think it came with some other stuff like cleaning kit or something else but I will have to look at it again and make sure. But I will also post which mac90 it is since I was told that they are a few different ones but I do know that it is a pre ban AK for sure because the guy I got it from is a close family member that bought it in the mid to late 80s and new fired it either and I bought it from him in 2002 and I just keep it in the box and then put it in the safe years ago.

Yeap. Looking 1200-1300 bucks. If your gonna sell get it in the market quick. People’s Disposable money is starting to disappear
I know that is definitely true, especially with the cost of just groceries alone about to put me in bankruptcy with 5 kids from 14-20 and my wife and me trying to pay for everything ourselves. I can imagine that the disposable money for most people has been long gone.
