After 15 years of establishing myself out in the world, I'm happy to have finally landed back in WNC. College took me to Raleigh and a job after that up to DC. Navigating gun ownership in DC became a bit of a hobby for a while, so if life happens to pull you that way feel free to reach out. Now that I'm back in freer lands I'm looking forward to being able to exercise some opportunities being able to own NFA items allows.

I'm a hobby machinist with some experience in CAD/CAM for CNC and 3d printing and I'm currently learning my way around a mini lathe with the hopes to step up to something a bit larger down the road. As an electrical engineer who now mostly writes code for a living, small electronics projects and playing radio are how I keep that itch scratched. I love comms projects so if you're a ham (especially if you're into SOTA/POTA) or looking to dip your toes into some of the small packet radios like LORA I'm always up for some conversation.

Welcome to CFF enjoy the forum

Welcome from WNC

Welcome from East Asheville.

Wouldn't mind trying some SOTA/POTA during retirement.

Welcome from Black Mountain

I have a similar story. After 25 years of trying I managed to get back to my mountains. I'll never leave. I'm convinced that seeing Grandfather mountain and driving the Parkway almost every day will add years to my life. Welcome home

Welcome and thanks for joining up with us here. We're hoping you'll find this site to be the very best internet hangout ever. Please reach out to others you know to join up with us here also.

And thanks for posting inside this thread so we can extend a CFF welcome and get to know you !

We're SO MUCH MORE than a firearms forum !

Welcome, we're happy to have you with us.

Have you posted enough to send/receive private messages yet? I’ve been trying to buy your p320 but you’re either not getting my messages, or ignoring me. I just want to know if you’re okay at this point! Haha
