I am looking for some pistol magazine holsters for IDPA. I have an SP01 so double stack 9mm magazines.
What brand/type does everyone use?


Also, what brand/type does everyone use if I wanted to shoot USPSA or some other pistol match that isn't built around concealing the mags/gun?

I use blade tech singles for IDPA, USPSA, 3 gun and everything else I shoot for everything from a Sig 226 to a Glock 19/17/34

I’ve only ever used CR Speed. They work for me so I haven’t seen the need to change.

Pretty sure the Ghosts/CR speed/Black Scorpion are all illegal for IDPA out of the box. You can modify them and make them legal, but it's a pain.

I'd just get a couple Comp-tac singles if you're dead set on sticking with IDPA. The singles allow you to space them a little further apart than a double pouch, which is a good thing.


For USPSA I use the DAA Racer pouches, and I like them a lot.

I've not heard good things about the long term reliability of the Racemasters. Something about the ball joint coming loose/breaking at all the wrong times.

Racers are about 1/2 the price so hats prob what I would go with!
