Magpul 10/22 Takedown Backpacker stock

Got the stock and fit it - I'm going to leave it on.
Same total length as the factory unit but its flat butt and not curved so it doesn't lock in to one position on your shoulder [could be pro or con for individual preference.]
Also my cheek feels more natural on the comb - I tried the optics height riser but the lower one is actually better for me even with a TRS-25 dot on the rail.
I like the 3 mag storage in the comb as well plus sling options.

Might sell the original Mossy Oak camo Ruger stock if anyone wants it - I got FDE and actually like it a lot.

Have one as well and love it. It’ll fit in the bag with the Nikon 2-7x Rimfire mounted though I need to work on that sight some more. I prefer 1 spare mag and a 50rd box of ammo in the stock, plus you can put flint/lighter/fishing line in the handgrip.

Great idea on ammo. I’ll play around reconfiguring the divider.
Of course 3 loaded mags gives you 30 rds as well . . . Decisions decisions . . .

I’ve been looking for a takedown with the backpacker Magpul stock. None around from what I’ve found. Any leads?

Find a cheap take down and buy backpacker seperate? They’ve been out long enough they’re on sale periodically. Got mine for $75ish on Amazon.
