Magpul 10/22 takedown stock opinions?

Love the 10/22 takedown package but the factory stock I got is a bit short plus and hard for me to get the best sight picture.

Thinking of the Magpul X-22 - anyone have first hand experience? Not sure it will still fit in the factory pack that came with mine.
I checked LOP specs, have to measure the stock unit to get an idea. Do like the comb storage compartment for extra mags !!
