DAYTON — A loaded Glock 26 handgun has made its way to the Dayton Police Department property room after a resident discovered it Wednesday evening while doing yard work at his home in Dayton.

The resident was mowing the front lawn of his home in the 100 block of Victor Avenue when he saw the weapon about 8 p.m., according to a police incident report filed this week.

The two officers who were sent to the address said the Glock was loaded with a 30-round magazine and it had a malfunction with more than one round attempting to feed into the chamber, according to the report.

D@mn after market magazines!
Was it loaded with the correct caliber? Rim fire rounds? We’re the bullets inserted in the correct direction?

I read several years ago about how most criminals usually have guns that will not function correctly for various, and obvious reasons such as those I mentioned.

Kids these days. Everything is throw away technology.

Nobody knows how to fix anything anymore. If I survive the apocalypse, I'm gonna be rich.

Irresponsible dog owners can't be bothered to use these, I guess.

One time I found a spyderco delica in the yard just after we moved in to a new house. I was pretty stoked.

This guy has wild Glock plants growing in his yard and he cuts them down with a mower just when they start to bloom. What a dude.
Just plainted some 9mm brass with 231, my ammo tree should be ready to harvest next year.

I’m still laughing at buying a subcompact and using a 30 round magazine.
A. What makes you think the last owner bought it?

B. 30rd. magazines are a viable option for any full framed Glocks. Some use them in bedside night guns. But, consider having a G26 as your concealable daily carry and a 30rd magazine(s) if you run into a peaceful protest. I've recommended 30rd mags as back up for years as hit the road, get home options vs long guns because of visibility. You can lay down a field of get away from me fire to exit the kill zone.

I may or may not know a guy who found a partially loaded Glock 33-round mag walking one of his construction sites off of Tuckaseegee Road a few years ago. And he may or may not still have it in the trunk of his car with his Glock 17.

"Local man falls out of chair, hits head on a Grock."

I LOL'ed!

Now that headline should happen -- but not at Battery Oaks ('cause no one would help me up - they'd be fighting over the polymer prize)!

I was busy documenting for Billy’s insurance company.
As if! I'd go find an Antifa demonstration to defraud first!

Ah.........dat's nuttin'.

I knew of a guy originally from Virginia who just randomly found a Glock under a bed down in SC and then later moved all the way to the Lone Star state to cover it up. Some on here can attest to that.

Lot's of re-discovered Glocks are starting to show up with strange stories behind them.

definitely fake news. Glocks don’t double feed.

Well, if antifa was behind the botched drive by, some limp worsting is a highly plausible theory...
